Throughout the church age,
it has been the constant job of the true followers of Christ, to keep the Christian church Christian. The Bible
says,:Thy word is truth". Jesus said, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life". We serve a God of Truth.
But there have always been men who want to take the truth
of God, and cover it, and hide it, and twist it, and confuse it.
One of the half-brothers of Jesus,
named Jude, wrote a very short book, which comes just before the book of Revelation at the end of the New Testament.
He opens his letter with the declaration that, "beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation,
it was needful for me to write unto you, that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the
saints. To earnestly contend means to sincerely fight.
The very last chapter of the
Bible carries a warning from Almighty God. Jesus says, if any man shall take away any of these words that He has spoken,
God shall take away His part out of the book of Life.
The Lord has declared that He is
truth, the words He speaks are the everlasting true words of Almighty God, and nobody will ever get away with messing with
them.
One of Jesus' most well known warnings
is in Matthew 7:3. Beware of false prophets, Jesus said, they come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they
are ravening wolves.
The first century Christians read
the writings from Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Timothy, Titus, James, Jude, and Paul, and recognized them as inspired
writings. Not just good,---- but inspired---- by the Spirit of God to the mind of man. The New Testament as we
know it has existed from the very first century. They had the writings and they read them and they lived by them.
And they were accepted as the complete canon of the revelation of God. There is no such thing as the "lost books of
the Bible". If any historical religious books were lost, they were not part of the Bible.
Before Constantine there was Diocletian, who sent his soldiers
from house to house, confiscating the copies of the books of the New Testament. He ordered them all to be burned.
And his soldiers knew just what books they were looking for. Some people claim that the New Testment did not exist till
the fourth century. If that were true, then what where Diocletian's solders working so hard for? Executing thousands
of Christians who were laying down their lives to protect a book that hadn't been written yet? Confiscating and burning
a book that didn't exist yet?
About the third and fourth centuries, there emerged a group
of people who called themselves gnostics, but claimed to be Christian. They claimed an extra deep special spiritual
knowledge. They had some very strange ideas and wrote some very strange things. They wrote about strange visions,
and imaginary conversations with Biblical characters. They were fictional and very bizarre. But because the writers
claimed to be Christians, the real Christians had to do something. So they declared, publically and officially,
look, these books that we have read and obeyed from the first century, carry the full and accurate truth about Jesus
Christ. If your religious ideas do not agree with the ideas put down in the New Testament. They are in error.
The words of the Apostle Paul, recorded by Luke in the Book
of Acts, 20:29 and 30, spoke of this situation. Paul said, I know this, that after my departing, shall grevious wolves
enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also, of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw
away disciples after them.
Jesus referred to this problem in Matthew 15:9, when he spoke
of people who, He said, in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. In vain means in
emptiness. Jesus said that there are some religious doctrines so far away from the truth that He preached, that teaching
those doctrines and claiming to worship Him at the same time, is impossible.
Acts 15:22---we have heard that certain people which came
out from you, troubled you with words, perverting your souls.
We are not talking here about differences of opinion.
the Bible makes room for people who have differences of opinion---and that is another whole sermon.
We are talking here about teachings that claim to be
orthodox, foundational, Biblical Christian teachings, but are so totally opposed to the message of Christ that they fight
against it and deny it.
In this basic category are teachings that, number One, they
deny Who Jesus Christ is, number Two, they deny what Jesus did for our souls, and number three, they confuse the soul
about how it may lay hold upon what Jesus did.
2 Peter 2:1 There were false prophets also among the people,
even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privately shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that
bought them.
2 Peter 3:17) you, beloved, seeing ye know these things before,
beware also, lest being led away with the error of the wicked, you fall from your own steadfastness.
1 Timothy 4:1. The Spirit speaketh expressly, that
in the latter times, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctines of devils.
One of the widely repeated falsehoods of this generation
is that "it doesn't matter what you believe". Well, yes it does. Because what you believe effects how you worship
and who you worship. And Who and what you worship becomes a part of you. And if you worship the true and living
God, the true and living God, by His Spirit, will live inside of your soul, bringing great peace to your spirit and direction
to your life. If you believe falsehoods and confusions and lies, your worship will be weak and confused,
and eventually your life will be full of weakness and confusion.
So the Bible warns us. Colossians 2:8 Beware,
lest any man spoil you with philosophy and vain deceit,---vain deceit means empty lies.---after the traditions of men, after
the rudiments of this world, and not after Christ. Hebrews 13:9 Don't be carried about with diverse and
strange doctrines, for it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace.
Matthew 16:6 And Jesus said, take heed that you beware
of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees. Now, the Pharisees and the Sadducees were two religious sects in ancient
Judea. We all have heard about the Pharisees---Jesus rebuked them for their rules and regulations and hypocrisy.
The Sadducees were at the opposite end of the ruler with their doctrine. The pharisees believed in angels and demons
and the resurection of the dead. The sadducees did not believe in any of that.
Jesus said watch out for both of them.
There are hundreds of religious ideas and opinions in the
world. But only a few that are the truth of Almighty God. So today we are going to look at a few of these
religious falsehoods, and see why they are false.
The first great heresy sprung up right along with the
birth of the true Christian church. This was called the Arian heresy. It was invented and preached by a bishop
named Arian. His heresy was, he did not believe that Christ was eternal in the heavens, that He was true God of true
God. He taught that Christ had His beginning in the womb of Mary, that He was an ordinary man, who sort of earned
a smaller divinity,by dying on the cross and resurrecting, but still was not equal with the Father.
Now,why was this heresy? Because it denied the
basic unchangable Truth of Jesus christ's identity.---that Jesus Christ is eternal, He is the Word made flesh--He is
divine God made flesh. that His bodily resurrection is the power behind our own resurrection to come.
The Arians are still among us. They do not call
themselves Arians. They probably never heard of Bishop Arian. But They will come by your house Saturday morning,
and engage you in religious debates, where they try to strangle scripture, verse by verse, trying to define the word "is",
and try to convince you there is no heaven, that paradise is on this earth, and Christ was not really God in the flesh, and
that He didn't really resurrect in the flesh.
The next heresy we will look at has never been understood
to be a heresy. The thought of this doctrine really being a heresy will be very disturbing to some people. But
it qualifies as heresy because it is a doctrine that claims to be Christian while robbing Christ of His true identity and
authority, and denying His eternal divine power.
It also causes people to bring the eyes of their soul down
from the Almighty God in heaven, to look at a mortal man for their spiritual leadership.
We will look at these Scriptures through the Bible chronologically.
Numbers 20:7-8 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
take the assembly together, and speak unto the rock before their eyes. And it shall give forth his water--and thou shalt
bring forth to him water out of the rock.
Deuteronomy 32:3,4. I will publish the name of the
Lord, ascribing greatness unto our God. He is the rock, his work is perfect. For all His ways are judgement; a
God of truth and without iniquity, Just and Right is He.
Deuteronomy 32:15, a king named Jerushan is rebuked.
because it says, Jerushan forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the rock of his salvation.
Deuteronomy 32:18 the rebuke goes on---of the rock
that begat thee, thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.
First Samuel 2:2 There is none holy as the Lord.
There is none beside Thee. Neither is there any rock like our God.
2 Sam. 22:2 David spoke to the Lord the words of this
song. And he said, the Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer. The God of my rock. In him will I trust.
He is my shield and the horn of my salvation. My high tower and my refuge, my savior.
Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock, and my fortress and
my deliverer, my God, my strength in whom I will trust. My buckler and the horn of my salvation.
Psalm 92:15 to show that the Lord is upright--He is my rock,
and there is no unrighteousness in Him.
2 Samuel. 22:32 For who is God, save the Lord, and
who is a rock save our God?
Psalm 18:31 For who is God, save the Lord, and who
is a rock save our God?
2 Samuel 22:47 The Lord lives, and blessed be
my rock, and exhaulted be God, the Rock of my salvation.
Psalm 18:46 The Lord lives, and blessed be my rock,
and may the God of my salvation be exhaulted
2 Samuel 23.3 The God of Israel said, the rock
of Israel spoke to me--
Psalm 27:7 In the secret of His tabernacle, He shall hide
me, He shall set me up upon a rock
Psalm 40:2 He brought me up out of a horrible pit.
He set my feet upon a rock
Psalm 31:3 for thou art my rock and my fortress.
Psalm 71:3 be thou my strong habitation for thou art
my rock and my fortress
Psalm 61:2 from the end of the earth I will cry
unto Thee, lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
Psalm 89:26 Thou art my father, my God and the rock
of my salvation
Psalm 95:1 Oh, come, let us sing unto the Lord, let us make
a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation
Psalm 94:22 but the Lord is my defense, and my God
is the rock of my refuge.
Isaiah 17:10 Thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation,
and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength.
Isaiah 29:16 Therefore, thus saith the Lord God, I
lay in Zion a foundation stone, a precious cornerstone. A sure foundation.
Isaiah 32:2 Speaking of Jesus--a man shall be as a
hiding place from the wind, as a covert from the tempest, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land
Romans 9:33 Behold I lay in Zion a stumblingstone and
rock of offense.
1 Peter 2:6 It is contained in our scriptures, behold
I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone--the stone which the builders disallowed is made the head of the corner
1 Corinthians 10:34 our fathers were under the
cloud and passed through the sea,and were baptized unto Moses----they drank of that spiritual rock which followed them, and
that rock was Christ
Peter understood who Jesus was. Peter understood
what Jesus was talking about when Jesus took his name and made a little word game with it. Peter understood it, and
Peter wrote it down. In 1 Peter 2:5, he says, you, you Christians, you belong to the building of God, as lively stones,
built up in the building of God's spiritual house. Jesus Christ is the Chief Cornerstone, The foundation of the building
of God. Peter said that. Peter agreed with Isaiah. Christ is the eternal sure foundation of the building
of God.
Words of the great Christian hymn are, rock of Ages, cleft
for me, let me hide myself in Thee.
Peter told the Christians you are all lively little
pebbles in a wall that is built on the eternal Chief Cornerstone, Jesus Christ. All the way through the Scriptures, God the
Son, Jesus Christ, is named as that eternal, unfailing, unmovable, divine Rock of Ages. He never resigned that position, or
surrendered it to anyone else. Eternal rock is one of the divine names of God. It describes His divine
nature, His divine authority, and His divine unfailing strength.
For any human being to take that title and name of Almighty
God and apply it to himself for any reason, under any circumstances, is totally unacceptable. It is heresy, because
it robs Jesus of His divine identity, divine, authority, and divine strength.
Hebrews 13:9 says don't be carried about with divers and
strange doctrines--it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace.
1 Timothy 4:1 declares that the Spirit Speaks expressly that
in the latter times, some shall depart from the faith, giving head to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils.
In the latter times--that means now. Are there any
heresies that have originated in these recent years that we should also be aware of? Absolutely.
One of the biggest errors of today in Christian circles
is that no one should ever be challenged as to whether the Christian message he is teaching really is The Christian message.
A few years ago, on the Trinity Broadcast Network, Paul Crouch got extremely angry over the fact that some people were challenging
some of his teachings. I personally heard the recording of this quote, and I can report that he was really very, very,
angry. On April 4, 1991, on a TBN prais-a-thon, he declared:
"That old rotten Sanhedrin crowd, twice dead, plucked up by the roots ... they're damned and on their way to hell
and I don't think there's any redemption for them ... the hypocrites, the heresy hunters that want to find a little mote of
illegal doctrine in some Christian's eyes .... ..."I say, `To hell with you! Get out of my life! Get out of the way! Quit
blockin' God's bridges! I'm tired of this! end quote.
He went on like that for a few more sentences, but
you get the idea.
The Bible says:
"Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that
he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. ... This witness is true. Wherefore
rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith." Titus 1:9-13
"I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus
Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; preach the word; be instant in season, out
of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time shall come when they will not endure
sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn
away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables." 2 Timothy 4:1-4
The Bible commands us to prove all things and hold tight
to that which is good. Brother Crouch should lighten up.
The common complaint I hear today is criticism of the
televangelists. There are a few really true, faithful, servants of the Lord broadcasting the Gospel.
But as a group, the American televangelists have become the
punch line to a lot of jokes, and the position is not undeserved.
The truth is, you can put your TV on a Christian channel
and leave it there 24-7, and sit there watching all that time, and at the end of the week still be confused as to exactly
what the Gospel is.
This is because the world of televangelism is overrun with
heresy. In fact there are so many heresies flying around that is impossible to discuss them all individually and separately.
The simple Gospel message is repent, and believe in Jesus and receive His redemption and new life. Repent means turn from
sin.
But this message is buried in the world of televangelism,
while the majority of leaders in that field continue to pour out their mountains of heresy. All heresies
have in them these ingredients. They confuse the divine identity of Jesus, they muddle the teaching of what He did on
the Cross, and they
misrepresent what the person is supposed to do to to receive forgiveness of sin.
In addition to this, a lot of heresies come out of real true,
scriptural teachings. But they get twisted out of shape out of shape into error, because they leave out the very
important ingredient of the heart's obedience to Jesus Christ.
The truth of God is that we can trust Him to
give us our daily bread, plus some to spare to give to others. But in recent years, this truth has been
twisted out of shape to mean you can tell God that your daily bread must include a rolls royce.
This is the twisting out of shape of a real true scripture,
that means something wonderful, and strangling it to mean what you want it to mean. That's where this Prosperity
message comes from. It's the justification these people have for their wallowing in this worlds gold.
This is what is called the Word of Faith Teaching.
The Word-Faith teaching tells us that Jesus and His disciples
were rich. Rolling in money. For you to be poor is a lack of faith. What you say in faith believing
must come to pass, so if you are sick, you must declare yourself well, and God will have to heal you. If you stay
sick, it is a lack of faith.
All you have to do is have faith, and God can't say
no to you. But when you really listen closely, they are telling you to have faith in your own faith, more than in God.
and this teaching really comes from the New Age. The New Age religion is a jumble of of all kinds of religious ideas
with a lot of pop psychology to make it sound scientific. One of the New Age teachings is that there is a "god within"
every person, and it is that "god within" that you are supposed to get in touch with, and command that god within to give
you every thing you want for a full and happy life.
As long as that "god within" doctrine stayed in the New Age
movement it was just a pagan doctrine. But it has come into Christian circles now, and since it now claims to be a Christian
doctrine, it must be labeled a heresy. It is called the "little god" teaching.
In a quote from one of the preachers of this doctrine,
Kenneth Copeland, he said:
"You don't have a god in you, you are one." This
preacher claims that Jesus told him, "Pray to yourself, because I'm in your self and you're in My self. " When I read
in the Bible where he [Jesus] says, 'I Am,' I just smile and say, 'Yes, I Am, too!'unquote This preacher just claimed
to be equal in divinity with Jesus!
There is a man in Puerto Rico named Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda.
His thousads of followers worship him as Christ in the flesh and call him "daddy". He declares that he does not pray
to God. He says he is God. He declares,"The spirit that is in me is the same spirit that was in Jesus of Nazareth,"
Not surprisingly, This man has a 666 tattooed on his arm.
And yet, Kenneth Copeland sits on a platform with other
alledged Christians, and declares this same thing---that he is a "little god" and can pray to himself.
And not one of those other people on the platform with him
make a single objection, or tell him to stop blaspheming and get off the stage. This doctrine is heresy. It denies
the unique and real divinity of Jesus Christ, and declares that Jesus' divinity was that of a glorified man. Then it
claims divinity for all human beings who know how to come up with the proper combination of word-faith and positive confession.
The unique, special identity of Jesus, in His virgin
conception and His sinlessness, is ignored. It's not denied. It's just ignored.
Another lie taught by Kenneth Copeland is that Jesus
never claimed to be God when He lived on earth. He was just an ordinary man, and as an ordinary man, He was tortured
in Hell, died spiritually, took on the nature of the devil, and got born-again in Hell. But Jesus said while still on
the cross, "it is finished". Jesus died on the cross. He did not do any more dying in Hell.
Timothy 3:13 but evil men and seducers shall grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived, but you continue
in the things that you've learned.
One heretic denies the divine identity of Jesus Christ, and
calls him a glorified man. Another heretic claims to be the one and only authority of god on the earth.
Another heretic claims that man is his own god. The origin of every false teaching, that has brought confusion
to the christian church, can be traced back to one of these doctrines, that confuse and deny the divine identity, absolute
Lordship, and divinity of Jesus Christ. Who is Jesus, and what did He do for us, and how do we get ahold of what He did for
us--this is the bedrock of the Christian faith.
You get that confused, you are going to go off on a tangent
in a hundred different directions
One of the biggest heresies of this generation is not
a teaching and does not have a name. It is a practice. To understand what is wrong here, you must understand what
is right according to the Scriptures.
Genesis 17:3 And Abram fell on his face, and God
talked with him
John 18:6 as soon as he had said unto them, I am He,
they went backward and fell to the ground.
What happened here was a manifestation of what is called
the shekinah. It was present from the beginning of the sacrifices back in the Old Testament, when the priests could
not stand up during their performances of the sacrifices. They would swoon and fall down because of the power of the
physical presence of the invisible god. Sometimes this physical presence of the invisible god was seen as a glowing
light that had no natural source.
Revelation 1:17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet
as dead.
All through the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, there
are accounts of people coming into the physical presence of the invisible God, and that power overcomes their body, and they
swoon and fall. It has always been a phenomenon through the centuries when there was a great move of the Holy Spirit
in the church. It happened in the Great Awakening Revivals that took place in colonial times at the founding of this
country. Some have called the experience as "resting in the Lord", but it is more commonly known as being "slain in
the Spirit". It is perfectly Scriptural and real and genuine.
But in the past few years a certain well-known televangelist
has not been content to let the Holy Spirit of God do His sweet work in the soul of a person, while the body is overcome by
the Lord's presence.
I'm sure a lot of people have watched the television programs
of Benny Hinn, and wondered what is going on here? Well, what is going on here is this religious actor in a thousand
dollar tailored tuxedo is playing games, and is using a physical manifestation of the Holy Spirit and turning it into a circus
act. It was a number of years ago when I first witnessed the "prayer line" of a Benny Hinn service. When
I saw the antics of knock them down and lift them up again so they can be knocked down again, my jaw hit the floor and stayed
there for three days. This is not the Spirit of God. There is no reverence or respect for the presence of
Jesus. It is a lot of religious excitability, that Hinn uses as a substitute for the true presence of the True Spirit.
The theological statements made by Benny Hinn over the years
are so moronic they do not even rise to the level of heresy. His religious ideas are closer to those of the the Gnostics
of the third century, with their fantastic, rediculous,fairy-tale visions. Among his unique notions is that he believes
that before the Fall in Eden Adam was able to fly to the moon, and that each member of the Trinity is in Himself a trinity.
He had to retract that one, because his book publisher insisted on a revision of the manuscript. He has stated
many times that the Lord has told him that certain specific things are going to happen. Not one single one of these
things has ever happened.
He does not take criticism very well. Once on the TBN,
he followed the example of Brother Crouch, and sounded off with his own anger at detractors. "You know," he said, "I've
looked for one verse in the Bible. I just can't seem to find it. One verse that says, if you don't like 'em, kill
'em! I really wish I could find it! Sometimes I wish god would give me a Holy Ghost machine gun. I'd blow
your head off!" unquote
Ephesians 4:11-12 tells us of what we call the five-fold
ministry. It says, He gave some apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors, some teachers, for the perfecting
of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. In recent months, Brother Pat seems to
have come up with a six-fold ministry. Apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers, and assassins. Brother
Pat, give me a break.
How are these strange outbreaks of religious lunacy part
of a study on heresy? Because they are examples of a thing called the spirit of error. And if a person does not
take care to measure all things by the Word of God, it is possible to get caught up in wrong, misleading ideas. These
ideas will not be from the Holy Spirit, but you will think they are. And if you don't do something about bringing
your thinking in line with Jesus' thinking, you will wind up in a lot of trouble.
John 14. I will pray the Father, and He will give you
another Comforter. He shall teach you all things. And bring all things to your remembrance whatever I have said
unto you. Chapter 15. When the Comforter is come, even the Spirit of Truth, He shall testify of Me.
Chapter 16, when He is come, He will reprove the world of
sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. Of sin, because they believe not on Me. Of righteousness, because
I go to My Father. of Judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. When He, the Spirit of Truth is come, He
will guide you into all truth , for He shall not speak of Himself, but shall glorify Me. He shall recieve of Mine,
and shall show it unto you.
The Holy Spirit will make you uncomfortable, because He will
tear your conscience apart and show you just how evil and destructive sin is, in the eyes of God.
The Holy Spirit will teach your conscience how to know the difference between the truth of the Bible and men's made
up ideas about religion. He will lead you into all truth. If you are willing to listen.
And the Holy Spirit might wrap you up in an invisible blanket of power and love and sweetness, and cause you to swoon
to the floor. Just pray that when this happens, the preacher will leave you alone to relish the presence of His peace without
distraction of being yanked around and shown off.
But through it all, your eyes must be full of Jesus.
You will have a strong, Holy Respect for the Word of God. For Jesus Christ and His authority over your life.
For centuries, The Bible, inspired by the Heart of God to
the mind of man, interpreted to the heart of man by the Holy Spirit, has been the final authority on all things concerning
God, His laws, His Redemption, His salvation.
For the past hundred years, there has been a work of Hell
going on in religious circles. Men pretending to be Christians have gotten together with other people pretending to
be Christians, and have set about to tear the Bible to shreds. For hundreds of years, from the time of Emperor Diocletian
in the third century, to the never ending bon-fires of the Inquisition, up to the eighteenth century, Bibles were confiscated
and burned by the church that called everybody else heretics, except themselves.
With the coming of the 20th century, they decided on a new
tactic.
The new translation. The King James English is archaic, full of thees and thous, and some words hard to deal
with. So they told us they were going to modernize it. What they did was chop holes in it, re-write, edit, and
butcher the sacred text to make it unrecognizable. And for the past hundred years, every ten years or so, they have
come out with an even newer revision, even more chopped up and trashed. These new so called versions of the Bible are
heretical Bibles--they teach heresy. Whoever heard of a heretical Bible? The term heretical Bible sounds like an oxymoron.
But it is heresy to deny the divine identity of Jesus. It is heresy to deny what He did for our souls. It is heresy
to deceive people about how the soul is to recieve the power of the Redemption He bought for us.
And all of these newly edited and newly revised and chopped
up versions of the Bible, in one form or other, teach these heresies.
If all you want is religion, you've got a whole
world of strange religious ideas and razzle-dazzle experiences to waste your time on.
But if you want reality, if you want the Truth, and
peace of mind, and salvation of soul, and forgiveness of sin, then come to Jesus. Who is Jesus? He is the
everlasting Son of the everlasting Father. What did He do? He made Himself a body, became a member of the
human race, and took the world of sin unto Himself, and died to pay our penalty, so we don't have to die forever. He
conquered death by rising from the grave with His own divine power. How do we receive His redemption? We repent
of our sins, and ask Him to receive us and forgive us. Then as new born forgiven souls, we learn and we grow, secure
in the knowlege that our sins are forgiven, completely and faithfully, and that we will resurrect to eternal life with Him
forever.
Only Jesus has the words of eternal life. Jesus said,
I am the way, the truth, and the life. He said the Holy Spirit will glorify Him and lead you into all truth.
We serve a God of Truth.
And how shall we walk with that God of truth?
Micah 6:8---He hath showed thee, oh, man, what
is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with thy God. Fill
your heart with the love of Jesus, the truth of Jesus, the light of Jesus, the words of Jesus, the power of Jesus, the true
power of the Holy Spirit, and you will be able to judge between the true and the false, the phony and the genuine. Because
your heart will know the difference.
